The UCD Confucius Institute for Ireland currently comprises of eight full-time and one part-time staff, including three staff members provided by Hanban. The Institute is governed by the Executive Board, chaired by Dr. Philip Nolan, Deputy President of UCD.

BACKGROUND
Zhao Wanxun is a visiting scholar from Renmin University of China. He was graduated from Beijing Language and Culture University with a MA degree of Chinese teaching as a second language. He is interested in the methods of Chinese teaching and the acquisition of Chinese as a second language.
